Percussion Ensemble Performs for GMEA Conference
On January 26th, the 8th grade percussion ensemble along with 3 7th grade percussionists performed for the Georgia Music Educator's Association Conference in Savannah, Georgia. The ensemble performed "Battle of the Samurai" on traditional Japanese Taiko drums as part of a Prism Concert featuring the Dickerson Symphonic Band, under the direction of Mr. John Palmer. Also performing on the concert were the Flute and Clarinet Choirs under the direction of Ms. Lee Harris, and the Saxophone and Jazz Ensembles under the direction of Mr. Palmer. |
