Midwest is the world's largest band and orchestra event in the world. More than 13,000 conference attendees will converge on Chicago, Illinois for five days of concerts, clinics, master classes, labs, workshops, panels, and presentations featuring some of the worlds top artists, educators, and ensembles. The session featuring Mr. Scott Brown and the Dickerson Percussion Ensemble is one of more than 100 events.
In addition, the conference is host to the Exhibit Hall with more than 350 exhibitors showcasing the latest musical instruments, publications, accessories, band and orchestra recordings, technology, fundraising, travel, uniforms, colleges and universities, music camps, and services. The students will be able to meet instrument designers and manufacturers, composers, educators, and performers at the various booths and have a chance to test the best the instrument manufacturers have to offer. The expo is truly a musician's paradise!
